Recaredo, among world’s best sparkling wines by Vivino users
Three Recaredo sparkling wines have been selected among the best wines in the world by users of the Vivino app. Based on the votes of consumers, Turó d’en Mota 2005 took first place among its category in Vivino’s 2018 Wine Style Awards.
Two other Recaredo sparkling wines also made it into the final top-ten ranking for the awards: Recaredo Serral del Vell 2008 (a single-estate sparkling wine), which came fourth, and Recaredo Terrers 2008, which was ranked eighth.
Vivino Wine Scanner is a mobile app that allows users to quickly find out about a wine. Users take a picture of the label with their smartphone, and the app automatically provides them with the information other users have written about the wine. The app has been downloaded 26 million times since it was launched. Vivino users have scanned 425 labels and given 72 million ratings.
