Commitment

Audited and certified by Bureau Veritas
A unique commitment to transparency and honesty
In line with the principle of “saying what we do and doing what we say”, since 2003 our work has been audited and certified by the independent body Bureau Veritas. From the vineyard to the winery and through to ageing in the cellars, every process is certified — reaffirming both our vocation as grape growers and winemakers, and our commitment to transparency and honesty towards consumers.
Our certification by Bureau Veritas is the result of one hundred years of progress and unwavering dedication — or what some leading professionals have described as Recaredo’s Quiet Revolution. Ultimately, the value of our corpinnats stems from the way we work, our belief in the land, and our desire to offer wine lovers the best of our efforts.

100% Own vineyards in the Corpinnat territory
We cultivate only family-owned plots, with dedication and care, to obtain fruit of the highest quality and craft wines that are deeply connected to their place of origin.
100% Organic and biodynamic dry-farmed viticulture
We make our wines with a deep respect for nature and its biodiversity, guided by a commitment to preservation. Since 2004, we have practised organic agriculture, certified by the Catalan Council for Organic Agricultural Production (CCPAE), and in 2006 we began working according to biodynamic principles — achieving DEMETER certification in 2010. We were the first winery in the Penedès region to obtain this certification.

100% Indigenous mediterranean varieties
Since 2014, Recaredo has made its Corpinnat sparkling wines exclusively from indigenous Penedès grape varieties — a commitment to distinction and to expressing the identity of a singular territory: the heart of the Penedès.
100% Harvesting by hand
We always harvest by hand to ensure meticulous grape selection and to guarantee quality.

100% Vinification on the estate
We vinify, craft and age our wines on the Recaredo estate to preserve the integrity of grape origin and ensure maximum transparency in our winemaking processes.
100% Own yeasts from our vineyards in the first and second fermentation
We craft sparkling wines using elements sourced exclusively from our own vineyards.
Since the 2020 vintage, all our Corpinnat wines have undergone both primary and secondary fermentation with indigenous yeasts from our vineyards.
This achievement is the result of twenty years of research into the use of yeasts isolated from our own vineyards, carried out in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

100% Second fermentation in bottle with must
Since the 2017 vintage, we have initiated the secondary fermentation in bottle for all our wines using organic rectified concentrated grape must, replacing refined sucrose derived from organic cane sugar.
For certain Corpinnat wines — including Recaredo Subtil, Recaredo Reserva Particular, and Recaredo Turó d’en Mota — secondary fermentation is initiated with grape must from the same vineyard the grapes come from.
100% Minimum ageing of 30 months
Recaredo’s bottles remain in the darkness of our cellars for at least 30 months (two and a half years), until they achieve a truly unique character.
At Recaredo, bottle ageing can extend beyond 25 years in the case of our most exceptional Enoteca wines.

100% Ageing under natural cork
From the first to the last bottle, our wines are aged under natural cork — a sustainable and recyclable material, ideal for preserving the quality of long-aged wines.
100% Riddling by hand on traditional racks
Each day, we perform a gentle, precise movement to guide the lees, under natural cork, down to the neck of the bottle.

100% Manual disgorgement without freezing
As part of our commitment to quality and long ageing, we keep the craft of the disgorger alive by manually removing the lees from the secondary fermentation in bottle, at the naturally cool temperature of the cellar — without freezing the neck — in each and every bottle.
