2003

Description

Turó d’en Mota 2003 is a terroir wine moulded by nature’s implacable desires. This vintage symbolises the challenge of creation: the authenticity of the landscape taken to the limit by a sweltering summer that finally gives way to just the right amount of rain that falls when it’s needed, at the end of August.

Great challenges forge great characters. That’s why 2003 is a historic vintage that has yielded a
long-aged wine with an intense, vibrant character, marked by an indomitable spirit that gradually succumbs to balance, elegance and complexity… Because time calms, reassures and brings wisdom.

2011

Description

The 2011 is a vintage with a multifaceted personality, capable of producing a wine that will linger in the memory forever. Scant rainfall in the autumn and winter was followed by a month of March with three times the average historical precipitation.

We treat the vines with the utmost respect, using natural plant treatments such as stinging nettle and horsetail in the spring. August is warmer and drier than usual: the fruit must be hand-harvested in record time to preserve the fresh, natural acidity of our Xarel·los, the unique origin of Corpinnat wines that embody the sublime fusion of patient time and the Mediterranean landscape.

2012

Turó d’en Mota 2012 is the living memory of a year defined by scarcity and expressiveness. An austere vintage, with one of the lowest yields in our history up to that point, yet full of character and essence.

The winter, dry and silent, gives way to the long-awaited spring rains, which inspire us to tend the vineyard with great care and return to horse-drawn ploughing to avoid soil compaction. The relentless summer softens with the rains of August, allowing for a slow, refined ripening.

We hand-harvest grapes of extraordinary balance and vibrant acidity — the origin of an elegant Corpinnat, born from both patience and precision.

“It is a true masterpiece of long aging. The aromatic profile is crafted with delicate strokes of dried leaves, balsamic notes (bay leaf), underbrush, and very fine pastry. Great acidity and a refreshing sensation. A Mediterranean character shines through in its expression”

“Toast and brioche on the nose, very elegant and complete on the palate; mineral and winey, rich and sleek with a lovely texture. Notes of coriander persist; complex and compelling.”
