Visites Recaredo

A practical guide to visits and tastings at Recaredo: immerse yourself in our philosophy

For the Recaredo family and team, opening the doors to our home is an opportunity to share our philosophy and values while exploring our historic cellars, the winery and, on selected visits, the vineyards themselves. It is a journey into the vocation of a family of winegrowers committed to the excellence of long ageing and to the most authentic expression of the landscapes at the heart of the Penedès.

If you are planning to visit us, this guide will help you choose the experience that best suits what you are looking for, ensuring that every minute at Recaredo offers a genuine immersion in our craft.

Step into the heart of Recaredo: more than a visit, an immersion in time

Crossing the threshold of the Recaredo winery, in the historic centre of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, means connecting with a form of winegrowing deeply rooted in the land. We are a family of winegrowers who, since 1924, have worked with transparency and respect for the land as unwavering principles.

During a visit to Recaredo, you will not simply see bottles ageing. You will understand why we follow the principles of organic and biodynamic viticulture and why each of our bottles is disgorged by hand. You will gain direct access to our underground cellars, where silence and subdued light protect Corpinnats that wait, sometimes for decades, until they reach the ideal moment to be tasted.

Our four wine tourism experiences in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia

Each visit has been designed to reveal a different aspect of our identity, from the beginnings of our history to the most exclusive treasures preserved in the family’s private collection.

Origen: a visit to discover the Recaredo philosophy

The tasting: we will taste two long-aged Brut Nature Corpinnats and two white wines from Celler Credo.

New: this visit includes a tasting of Recaredo L’Infinit, the new and exciting Corpinnat project from the family and team.

Temps: a private visit with manual disgorgement in situ

Temps: Recaredo private visit with manual disgorgement in situ

For those seeking a more personalised experience, this 2.5-hour visit focuses on the value of patient waiting. It is a private experience in which we explore biodynamic viticulture and the passage of time in greater depth.

The highlight: you will witness the manual disgorgement of our emblematic Recaredo Serral del Vell, performed before your eyes at natural cellar temperature, without freezing the neck of the bottle.

The tasting: the experience will be completed with two long-aged Brut Nature Corpinnats and two white wines from Celler Credo.

Price: €95 per person, with a minimum of 2 people.

Serral del Vell: a biodynamic walk through the family vineyards

Serral del Vell: a biodynamic walk through the Recaredo family vineyards

For those who appreciate the landscape and the origins of the wine, this 4-hour immersion begins where everything starts: in the Serral del Vell vineyards. We will walk among the vines, touch the soil and understand how the ecosystem influences the quality of the fruit. The experience culminates at the winery, completing the journey that began in the vineyard.

The experience: it includes a light breakfast and a tasting of Intens Rosat in the vineyard itself. We will then continue at the winery with the disgorgement of Serral del Vell and a tasting of two Recaredo Corpinnats and two white wines from Celler Credo.

Price: €130 per person, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people.

Homenatge: discover the family’s private wine collection

Homenatge: discover the Recaredo family’s private wine collection

Our most exclusive and personal experience. Over the course of 4 hours, we will explore more than a century of family history. It is a tribute to the generations who came before us and to the legacy we preserve.

The culmination: the visit concludes at Recaredo Enoteca, where you will taste limited releases and Corpinnats from the family’s private reserves, disgorged by hand at that very moment, exclusively for you.

Price: €300 per person, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people.

Practical information for planning your visit to Recaredo

Our visits are available by prior appointment only. We prioritise small groups so that we can respond to every question and ensure a close connection with the sommelier, a professional who is immersed in the day-to-day life of the winery. We do not aim to be a mass tourism destination, but rather a space for cultural exchange centred on the winegrower’s craft and everything our region has to offer.

Duration and prices: from 2-hour experiences to 4-hour immersions

We understand that every visitor has a different pace. Our experiences reflect the personalised dedication of the team and the value of the Corpinnats served, many of which are collector’s bottles that are difficult to find beyond our home. Payment is required in advance to secure the booking.

Once you have decided which experience best connects with you, you can book your visit directly through our website.

Recaredo, recognised with the Robert Parker Green Emblem

Recaredo has been awarded the Robert Parker Green Emblem, an international distinction recognising wineries that are leaders in sustainability. Only three wineries in Spain are part of this selection, and Recaredo is the only one in Catalonia.

This distinction recognises a way of working founded on organic and biodynamic viticulture, soil care, the preservation of biodiversity and the adaptation of the vineyard to the challenges of climate change.

This commitment is part of how we understand our craft and is also present throughout our visits, during which we share the connection between our wines, the Penedès landscape and a long-term vision for the land.
