Recaredo awarded international Safe Travels stamp
Recaredo has been awarded the Safe Travels stamp by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) in recognition of its status as a safe destination for tourism activity. The stamp verifies Recaredo’s rigorous commitment to complying with all of the COVID-19 safety and prevention protocols established by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The seal serves as a safety guarantee for all visitors to Recaredo, where, since the start of the pandemic, tourism activities and cultural events have been adapted based on the hygiene measures approved by the Government of Catalonia at each stage.
Recaredo’s commitment to high-quality wine tourism that ensures safety has led the winery to develop new offerings for visitors, with the emphasis on small groups and outdoor activities. In addition to the winery spaces, groups can visit both the Serral del Vell estate and the iconic Turó d’en Mota vineyard, two unique spots in the Penedès region.
The Safe Travels stamp is further evidence of Recaredo’s commitment to pursuing a sustainable and responsible approach to tourism, which has been certified for the fourth consecutive year by the Biosphere certification body.
